From the staggering 308 stairs of Point Reyes Light Station
to the south, to the magnificent stone lighthouse
on Northwest Seal Rock at the outer boundaries of St. George Reef, the lighthouses of Northern California protected the ships that plied the dangerous fog shrouded northern coast of California.
